Gleim, Rothman Announce More Than $1 Million in LSA Funding for Local Projects

September 15, 2026

HARRISBURG – State Sen. Greg Rothman (R-34) and Rep. Barb Gleim (R-Cumberland) are announcing more than $1 million in Local Share Account (LSA) funding that is being awarded to two projects in the 199th Legislative District.

“These investments will have a direct and meaningful impact on our community,” said Gleim. “From ensuring our first responders have the equipment they need to protect public safety, to supporting an organization that provides valuable services to residents, these projects are worthy investments in the future of our area. I am pleased to have supported these funding requests and am grateful to see that they received approval.”

The West Pennsboro Township Fire Company plans to purchase a new mini pumper fire truck with the more than $427,000 grant it is receiving. Also, a $600,000 grant is being awarded to New Life Community Church for instillation of a new HVAC system that will allow it to better serve community groups.

“I was pleased to advocate for this grant funding to keep our community safe and well supported,” Rothman added. “These state investments equip our local first responders and help ensure important needs are met within our community.”

The Local Share Account (LSA) program provides funding for projects that promote economic development, community improvement and public interest projects across Pennsylvania.
